Now Released—EMC Documentum ApplicationXtender for Microsoft Office 2007!
EMC® ApplicationXtender® for Microsoft® Office® 2007 (AXO) is a software add-on module to ApplicationXtender 5.4 SP1 that allows Business Application Architects, Designers, and Developers to integrate ApplicationXtender content management functionality into Microsoft Office Business Applications (OBAs) based on a 2007 Microsoft Office system. Microsoft OBAs are a new breed of applications that connect line of business systems such as accounting with the people that use them through the familiar user interface of Microsoft Office. AXO is designed to support and extend the concept of OBAs.
Highlight of New Features:
- Provides ApplicationXtender functionality integration into Microsoft Office 2007 Applications—Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Provide a new ApplicationXtender User Interface through Microsoft Office 2007 Applications
- Provide the ability to customize ApplicationXtender functionality within a MS OBA
- Use Microsoft’s ClickOnce deployment technology for seamless deployment
