Fujitsu Introduces High-Performance Scanners with
Advanced Paper Handling Capabilities and Fast Scanning Speeds
Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc., a market leader in document imaging scanners and services, recently introduced the Fujitsu fi-6140 and fi-6240 color, duplex scanners into its award-winning line of document imaging products. The new high-performance scanners continue the Fujitsu tradition of providing the workgroup scanning market with unmatched scanning performance and ease of use at a highly competitive price.
The new Fujitsu fi-6140 and fi-6240 (flatbed model) scanners integrate the latest innovative scanning features and applications, including an advanced document feeding system for superior paper handling, automatic ultrasonic intelligent multi-feed detection technology, long document scanning support (up to 10 feet), improved embossed card scanning capability (such as credit cards and insurance cards) and continuous feeding of up to three hard cards through its 50-page automatic document feeder (ADF). Rated at 120 sheets per minute (240 Images per minute in duplex mode) for letter-sized, 300 dpi landscape documents, this speedy scanner gives you the options of connecting via standard USB 2.0,
Ultra Wide SCSI, Kofax VRS Ultra Wide SCSI (Adrenaline card) or Kofax VRS USB 2.0 and can use TWAIN, ISIS or VRS. I ran this powerhouse off a laptop, no need for an Adrenaline card.
It has an adjustable 500 Page Automatic feeder, VRS auto-color detect, hardware patch code detect, 600 DPI true optical CCD, sophisticated feeder system to prevent paper jams and multifeeds, and optional imprinter.
