Public E-forms

All companies, no matter what the industry, need to gather data from their customers: Applications, Orders, Updates, Inquiries, Disputes, etc. Unlike other solutions, Formatta provides free Filler software to you and all your customers.
Formatta makes it very easy for organizations to slowly transition from paper to electronic forms and avoid large up-front expenses associated with enterprise license fees and per-seat filler fees.

Internal E-forms

Formatta understands workflow, internal controls and business processes.  These internal business processes are replete with paper and duplicate data entry. And once the data has been entered, accessing it, moving it, and changing it become even more problematic.
Think about the paper involved in recruiting, hiring, and training a single employee. Think about the paper involved in every single purchase order, vacation request, expense report, or beneficiary update.
There are three major issues that have limited the use of electronic forms technologies to enhance internal business processes.

  • First, traditional forms products require filler licensing fees per employee.
  • Second, traditional forms products lack secure encryption capability. 
  • Third, most electronic forms have limited flexibility. For example: If the data is gathered electronically - what can the originator then do with it? Can he save it, edit it, forward it, route it, accept it, reject it, import it, export it, email it, archive it?

Formatta products provide innovative solutions to all of these pressing issues.

  1. Formatta Filler is a freely distributable application. Anybody, anywhere, at any time, can obtain and use a copy of the Formatta Filler application to view, fill, save, email, print forms designed with Formatta Designer.
  2. Formatta's client-side encryption technology allows the person filling out the form to encrypt the data personally with a password of his/her own choosing. This approach to encryption not only insures the integrity of the data, but directly addresses the confidence of the user in the encryption process as well.

Pre-filled E-forms

Pre-filling a form saves time and ensures accurate information is contained in the form. Formatta Server can pre-fill forms with general as well as specific information from a database.
Organizations often send out forms to individuals with certain information already filled in. For example, the IRS sends out tax forms with a label that contains the name, address, and social security number of the person to whom they are sending the form. Pre-filling information:

  • Saves the end user time in filling out the form
  • Ensures essential information is entered correctly
  • Allows the user to verify the organization has the correct information

Formatta Server allows an organization to pre-fill a form with information from a database. A form can be pre-filled with information on the organization or information pertaining to an individual user.
Forms can be pre-filled before being distributed – simply pre-fill the form before posting it on a website or emailing it. Or forms can be pre-filled after they are distributed – end users can log into to a secure server and have Formatta Server pre-fill the form with their specific data.

Remote Signing

Without a signature most forms are useless. Without an electronic signature most electronic forms are useless. But users are reluctant to pay for expensive digital certificates when a wet signature is free. Formatta’s remote signing capability allows multiple people to sign e-forms free using a common certificate.
A person logs into an authentication server using a username and password. The electronic form is sent to the server and signed by the server’s certificate. Then the signed e-form is sent back to the user.
Remote signing provides a free way to sign an electronic form. Organizations can encourage more clients to submit e-forms by providing the remote signing feature. Remote signing:

  • Eliminates the need for expensive digital certificates
  • Allows an organization control over the signing process
  • Provides a practical method for electronic authentication
